Horas horas is the common day greeting to the Batak People who are the 'locals' of Lake Toba.
The Horas Hash not only takes it's name from the local language of Lake Toba but all the runs are held exclusively at, or around, Lake Toba, Brastagi and the surrounding highlands area, even though non of the hash participants actually live in the area of Lake Toba.
The Horas Hash only runs once a year and has a well deserved reputation for holding a first class event (says us). We endevour to put quality before quantity, with the exception of beer, with which we combine the two.
